BioWorkZ a.k.a. Ben Kwok is an L.A. based graphic artist and illustrator. Born in Taiwan, raised in Los Angeles, art has always been a huge part of my life. When I could first used chopsticks, I was already doodling on whatever I could get my hands on. I love complex hyper detailed artwork. To lose myself into the “flow” of drawing is about as good as it gets. I’m very passionate about what I do, that’s why I continue doing it.

It's been a long long time since I updated this journal. Lots of turmoil in my life...good and bad. I guess all good depending on your perspective. But I've been more active in creating personal art. Art that I love and trying to get back to the place where art was a labor of love and not a paycheck. Sure a paycheck would be great, but I can see that my love for the craft has suffered. So to celebrate, I've been creating lots of ornately decorated animals. It's very therapeutic for me and I enjoy it immensely. I will continue to upload more.
